The Music

There’s much to celebrate this year!

This season, Musicians of the Old Post Road was honored with the Noah Greenberg Award from the American Musicological Society for an unprecedented second time. The prize recognizes the rediscovery work of Co-Artistic Directors Suzanne Stumpf
and Daniel Ryan, rewarding their recent efforts to bring to light the music of Christoph Graupner.

Funds raised by this Gala will support the recording and production of the ensemble’s highly-anticipated eighth CD, which will include the premiere recordings of four of Graupner’s pieces. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear these works performed live at the Gala!
